We are the Church Militant. We are not called to be a snowflake faithful. We began on a bloody cross. We are founded on the blood of martyrs. Our saints have endured suffering we can’t imagine and found treasure we can’t conceive. Our joy is in the hope of the joys of heaven and our gratitude is for the mercies we undeservedly receive. It is tough to be a Catholic and you have to be tough to be a Catholic. We do our best because the best is yet to come.
